I was one of those people who has ALWAYS owned a PC dating back to the early-1990's up until my most recent HP computer that I bought in 2017 which unfortunately just recently crashed. However, all other technology I own is Apple-related (iPhone, iPad, AirPods, Apple TV, & Apple Watch). So I took a big step by making my first Mac purchase on 4/3/2021. Since this iMac would be used primarily for web browsing, listening to music, and light office work (since I work from home a couple days a week), I didn't necessarily need a fast machine. But this computer does the job! The 4K display is amazing and easy on the eyes while apps load up very quickly. I also love how I am able to integrate my existing apps (on my iPhone) such as my messages, photos, music, & Safari data directly on the iMac. I am very happy with this purchase and hope this will give me many years of usage!

I purchased my first iMac G5 in early 2007 and loved it. It Lasted me 7 years so I thought it would be a good idea to get a MacBook but it didn’t leave my desk. Being as i like to get my money’s worth I used the MacBook for another 7 years. I knew I was going to pull the trigger on a new iMac as the MacBook was starting to give me problems. When I saw this Retina iMac for $999 I jumped on it. Yes, this is a 2019 model. It’s the same model Apple currently sells on their website for $1299. For me, this computer is great. Granted I’m not playing high end games on it or running demanding programs. I use it for music, YouTube, email, Microsoft office, and light video editing and it runs without issue. Apple is most likely updating the iMac line this year as the black bezels are certainly outdated, but besides that it still looks very nice. The Retina display is the big selling point as everything looks crisp and vibrant. What’s great about Apple is how easy the set up is. If your an iPhone user everything just transfers nicely. Apples Magic Mouse and keyboard are included and they are definitely a plus. Both are bluetooth and I have yet to charge them (they supposedly last up to a month on average before you have to charge). One negative is the lack of a dedicated numeric pad on the right side of keyboard. Apple decided to package the small keyboard and I find it annoying to type numbers in for the top of the keyboard. If you can get this for under $1000 it’s worth it. I’m very happy with the purchase and Im sure I’ll get another 7 years out of this one too.

I’m so happy with my purchase! I’m learning how to use a Mac system but it’s going great! Love the huge screen because it is so much better for my eyes. I love that you don’t need a console which is amazing because everything is inside the monitor!

I love this Retina display, I had purchased the regular IMac 21.5 inch without the Retina display, decided to return it for this one only 200.00 more. So glad I did my photos look so fantastic on this It is everything you would expect from Apple. Highly recommend It.
