I love everything about my new Frigidaire Induction cooktop: Starting with the sleek appearance and the slide controls. The most exciting thing about this cooktop is the sheer speed and quick response (as in immediate). It rivals even gas cooktops in the response time. It’s very easy to keep clean as nothing sticks to the surface.

This stovetop has made life so much easier for us! Love that there are No Nobs or burners to clean!!!

Cooking with science has never been easier! Ferro-magnetic pans are all you need to cook like a pro with amazing control over the heat output of this sleek and efficient cooktop. It also boils water incredibly fast. All you need to do is hold up a refrigerator magnet to see if your pans will work. The controls are intuitive and the completely smooth cooktop is the easiest appliance to clean that you will ever own. Because it doesn't produce its own heat, the glass gets warm, but never hot enough to bake on food or grease that make radiant glass cooktops a huge pain to clean. It does make a slightly audible buzzing noise when it's cranking out the energy that your pans turn into heat, but even the most high end cooktops do this (I have heard it first hand at one of the fancy appliance showrooms around town, so it's not just something I read online). It's just the nature of the technology. The placement of the burners leaves things a little cramped at times and the lack of a bridge burner makes it harder to use a griddle. Also, it appears to have some sort of internal timer that shuts it down after a few hours, so be careful if you're trying to simmer stock for a while. You have to keep an eye on it, but that's also a safety feature, so it is hard to complain too much. Again, this is a great deal for the most energy-efficient style of cooktop that measures up in every other way.

I dont like that I can't use some of my old pots and pans but they were trash anyways. When u have the right pots and pans this cooktop is phenomenal! I like to steam my veggies. To boil the water for steaming takes about 30 seconds... LITERALLY!!! I steam on the stove quicker than pouches steam in the microwave... NO S#!T I was a major fan of gas stoves until this came into my life. I start cooking in 30 seconds instead of waiting 5 minutes to pre heat the pan. This stove top has changed the way I cook and made life in the kitchen a lot easier. So easy to clean, unbelievably easy to clean. I cant believe i just found out about this!!!!

One of the best purchases ever. Easy to clean, easy to operate and great looks. No handles or anything to stick out. Very happy with it.
