At first deceptive,looks like it will work, but was tiny size when it arrived, more like for a magic marker or fat ink pen holder.
It only has a tiny, I mean very tiny opening or hole to screw it onto any microphone stand with. It needs to have an adapter, so you can use it on different size mic stands. Most good ones come with an "insert" you screw in to make it fit on a tiny screw on. You leave off the "insert" and it fits great, perfect on a "mic stand" aka microphone stand.
This holder seems to tear or get deformed if you use a 2 inch wireless mic. On-Stage Stands desktop microphone stand, tripod desk stand with microphone clip is great, easily holds any mic up to 2.5 (2 and a 1/2) inch diameter mic. THAT mic clip has the "insert" so you can use it with a tiny screw on or with a huge screw on, basically an either or, more better options.
