This is one incredible laptop, probably one of the best I've ever owned. I purchased it for $1599 on launch day right before the prices went up same day. I'm impressed with it's performance, weight, battery life and design. Pros - Performance: The Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme X2-94-100 is insanely fast. It is probably the fastest mobile chip on Windows right now. It blows away the overly hyped Intel panther lake chips and AMD. It's not even close. For reference these are the scores that I got in some benchmarks Geekbench 6.6 -> 3821 single, 23070 multi Cinebench 2026 -> 637 single, 7112 multi Speedometer 3.1 -> 45 - Graphics: The graphics has been improved massively over the previous gen which was the main weakpoint. most games are now playable on low to medium settings. I played Cyberpunk 2077 at medium settings I was getting around 64 fps, Shadow of Tomb Raider I got 54 fps - Weight: When I first picked it up, I was blown away by how light weight it felt. I measured it at 1310g and it is probably one of the lightest 16 inch laptops I've ever used. - Display: This is gorgeous, the colors pop and gets crazy bright - 48GB of RAM for this price is insane. It's also super fast 9533 MT/s - Ceraluminum feels really nice to touch, you just feel like you want to touch it often - Battery life is solid though it's not spectacular. On Chrome browser playing Norway 4k on Youtube at 4K resolution at 50% brightness in power efficiency and whisper mode, I got 13 hours - The SSD is easily replacable so that's another bonus - The touchpad while not haptic feels buttery smooth and nice to use. - This Best Buy exclusive version has touch which is great, which makes the display look premium and get rids of those ugly cheap black borders in the nontouch variants - Windows on ARM: There are very minimal compatibility issues now and almost everything works. The performance is great, and quite faster when compared to using regular x86 laptops Cons: - It would have been nice if the battery was slightly higher capacity like 83Wh or maybe even 99Wh for a slight increase in weight would have made it perfect - There is no webcam privacy shutter - There are lot of reflections on the display which can be very distracting when working outdoors. There needs to be some sort of antiglare coating - There is lot of empty space around the keyboard which could have been used to place some upward firing speakers. All the speakers are at bottom

This is an easy review to do. This is, without a doubt, the best laptop I've owned. I have been waiting for a long time for a high performance, lightweight, long-battery life 16 inch laptop. With previous machines, there was always a trade off. It was either the battery life, the weight, heat dissipation, etc. Then comes the Zenbook A16. I couldn't believe how light it is. And yet it is beautiful and sturdy. The display is gorgeous. The performance is phenomenal. And I still get more than a day of battery life. And I haven't faced any app compatibility issues. Highly recommend this machine.

This laptop blows away practically every laptop currently on the market at a fraction of the costs. X-elite 2 chip is super-fast and whisper quiet. You almost never hear the fan or feel heat when laptop is placed under load. I never could have imagined having this much power for such a light device. This laptop is lighter that my Surface Pro with keyboard with a much bigger screen and power.

I've had this for about a month now as my main machine going into college, and it has held up better than I expected, and I expected a lot going in. The Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme is the real story here. I do a fair amount of CPU-heavy work, and it simply doesn't slow down. Video encoding in particular was noticeably faster than the x86 laptops I compared it against before buying. The 48GB of RAM and the memory bandwidth make multitasking a non-issue. What actually sold me, though, is how little performance you lose on battery. Most x86 laptops lose 30 to 50 percent off the charger. This barely moves thanks to the incredible efficiency of ARM chips and the latest Qualcomm advancements. The weight is the other thing you can't truly understand until you feel it. 2.65 pounds in a 16 inch body is legitimately remarkable. It weighs the same or less than comparable 13 inch laptops like the Dell XPS 13. Carrying it around campus all day (even with the included 140w USB-C charger) I don't notice it in my bag at all. The screen is a 3K OLED and it's exactly as good as that sounds: bright, sharp, and equally suited to work and media. Six speakers on something this thin is unexpected and makes a real difference for that media consumption, but I wouldn't say they have standout performance. The Zephyrus G16 and most MacBooks still beat it out, but that isn't really the purpose of the machine. Pros: CPU-heavy tasks like video encoding run noticeably faster than comparable x86 laptops Battery performance barely dips when unplugged 2.65 pounds in a 16 inch body, remarkably light for the screen size 3K OLED display is bright and sharp for both work and media Six speaker audio system stands out for something this thin 48GB RAM and strong memory bandwidth make multitasking effortless Cons: No dedicated GPU, so it's not built for gaming or 3D rendering Bezels feel like a slight step down in material quality compared to the Ceraluminum chassis For coursework, writing, research, and everyday computing with real power under the hood, it has been excellent.

Laptop is great. Very fast. The trackpad is OK, it’s reasonably accurate but not haptic. It’s mid tier. The rest of the machine is fantastic. Display is great, ports are great, cpu is awesome. Wicked fast. Keyboard is great too, better than I was expecting.
