BudFits - Exercise Adapters for Apple® iPod® and iPhone Ear Buds - Frosted Clear

I love working out with BudFits. My iPod earbuds used to fall out...Now I just clip these onto the earbuds. The earbuds are now secure and way more comfortable.

The adapter is not a set of earphones. They are made of rubber, fit only the stock iPod earphones, and afford athletes the opportunity to workout uninterrupted. I am a marathon runner and have not had a problem with my earphones falling out since purchasing this item. A surprising benefit of the adapter is that it also positioned the earphones in such a way that it improved the sound quality of the earbuds' speakers. I would strongly recommend this item to everyone that seeks to workout without having to reposition their earphones again.

After a long search and trying every headphone to workout with and run I was still not satisfied and tired of spending money on headphones that just didn't work. This is a great option because you can use the apple headphones that you have laying around and probably never used because they didn't fit. Really comfortable and light. Hold is secure. Best $10 I could have spent.

BudFits make it so you don't have to jam earbuds in your ears to keep them in place, just as advertised. Never once have my iPhone earbuds fallen out since these arrived. They do make the wire to the earbuds shorter a little, but it's quite an acceptable tradeoff. Does not hinder the in-line microphone from iPhone earbuds much at all. Occasionally after prolonged use, you may have to adjust the earbud slightly, but not anything to take away from the usefulness overall. While wearing sunglasses, I did find that they do sometimes need to be readjusted on my ear to hear music better. But thankfully I don't wear sunglasses 24/7 or every time I use the BudFits, so it's not even an issue. Excellent product, and it lets me keep the functionality of the iPhone earbuds with the microphone/controls, without costing a lot of money.

I had a real problem keeping Apple's stock ear buds in my ear. When I walked, the jostling and weight of the microphone would pull the bud out of my right ear. The left bud stayed in most of the time. But it was irritating to have the bud fall out during a favorite song. The Apple ear buds were trivial to insert (and also remove) and adjust for a comfortable fit with the BudFits. The BudFits definitely solved my problem. In my case, I didn't really need to use the microphone but it might be a concern since wrapping the cord of the Apple ear buds causes the microphone to rest next to your cheeks and not close to the level of your mouth. (I never tested the usefulness of the microphone in its new position.) But the BudFits are definitely a worthwhile investment if you have problems with the ear buds falling out of your ears.

Keeping Apple headphones in, at least for me, is near impossible on a treadmill or while running. I've gone through several headsets now trying to find one I can work out with. These of course can get pretty expensive. The best ones I've used are over the ear style. Unfortunately, they don't make a lot of these with the inline mic. Honestly, the Apple headsets are some of the best around. So these little clip-ons are exactly what I needed. Be warned, they make the cord a little shorter. Could be a problem if you keep your iPod in your pocket? I don't know. Works great with my iPhone headset though.

Overall I'm quite pleased with this product. My only complaints are: - When you use it, the length of the cord is shortened by a few inches. Depending on where you store your iPod/iPhone, this may be a few inches that you need. - Because the cord is fed through the earpiece and around the back of the ear, the microphone and controls for the iPhone are hanging behind the ear, which is too far from the mouth for the mic to work well or the controls to be convenient. Still, this is a much better option for me than purchasing a very expensive new set of headphones that have full functionality and the over-the-ear feature.

I had problems with the ipod earphones not fitting in my ear. $9, problem solved with budfits! they knew wha they were doing when they designed these! Also, a friend of mine recently bought the ipod 3g shuffle, and his ear were compatible for the earphones! again, $9, problem solved! i am very happy.
