Destiny 2 Standard Edition - Xbox One

D1 was disappointing due to no story, only 10 missions in the same area, and length of campaign only being 6 hours. In D2 I had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. First thing I noticed was the graphics. The colors and scenery are amazing. There is a good story that pulls you in. I’m only a few hours in but this game is worth the discounted price!

This is the first Destiny game I played even though I always loved Bungie as the ones who created Halo. I love the way the game feels and how nice the shooting is so butter smooth. Still getting involved in the story but so far I am hooked and can't wait to see what other Destiny 2 game modes for PVP after I finish the excellent campaign. New or veteran Destiny fans need to pick this amazing game up today!

I really like Destiny 2 - I felt like their were some great moments that made you feel some accomplishment for getting through them and it told a very good story about despair and victory. The game play mechanics were good, a few choices in character abilities, and moving around seemed a bit faster than the original. The issue that I had was end game content being repetitive and not as rewarding as I had hoped for. Yes, there were many strikes to complete, a raid to finish, gear to be had. But there was also - run here do this, run there do that. All with the hopes to have the highest gear level when much of the game scales to whatever gear you have at the moment anyways. I would recommend to pick it up and give it 4 stars, go through the story and do some of the end content with the idea that it is a good game for that. I would only give it 5 stars to a person that would feel accomplishment from doing tasks over and over again to get the highest light level.

Destiny 2 doubles down on the action, story, and in-game loot. If you even mildly enjoyed Destiny, you will love Destiny 2. The AI is more realistic and provide a more visceral appeal to the games action and responsiveness. The strikes are more evolved and provide even more fun than before. The added customization to armor, weapons, and ships is a definite plus. The game from the first minute on is a much more involved experience that does not disappoint. This is the Destiny all fans of the series has been waiting for, a must buy!

Story is more rewarding. Looks great, plays great. The shooting is as great as expected. Better with friends

Graphics are improved and I have enjoyed the story line. Easy to find people to play with. Good game!

Unlike its predecessor, Destiny 2 finally rocks a decent story line to accompany the familiar online multiplayer experience. I found myself enjoying the varied campaign missions, and doing co-op raids with friends whenever I want to do something different from competitive multiplayer. That said, I still put in hours into the multiplayer because of the different maps, weapons, and abilities one can use to shine in this game.

Great graphics, multiplayer is cool as well. Story mode is finally good
