Love the Pixel
I love Google pixel phones. So after my used phone quit on me, this was its replacement. The screen is beautiful, immaculate crisp lines and photos and videos really look real. Camera quality is excellent, as well as the speed and processing power of this phone. I highly recommend getting a higher gigabyte storage as this comes in handy for me. Personally. Very happy with the personalization of colors and clock types as well on this phone, without being overwhelming!! Overall 10 out of 10. Great phones so far.

Pixel 8 - worth the upgrade
This was the exact product I was looking for. I am a Google 1 subscriber so I did not want the Pixel 8 Pro with 512 GB as most of my data is now in the cloud so 256 is great for me anyways. Battery life is basically the same as the Pixel 8 Pro also. I'm very happy with my purchase, I got a good price at Best buy and I was in and out in like 30 minutes during busy shopping season. I may purchase another phone here as well. Just check out the picture quality of the photos I took of Santa Claus!

Pixel 8 is good
The phone is really good and camera is amazing. Got it for a good price during sale. The UI is also amazing. The phone did feel a bit small when compared to my previous phone, but I could easily get used to it within a week. Battery seems good for now. Did seem to drain fast for the first few days.

My pixel 8 experience
Great daily driver with a stock Android experience, great camera and a decent battery life. I don't do any gaming so couldn't comment on that aspect but for regular app usage - communication and social media it's snappy, with zero lags. Maps is sometimes glitchy forcing me to close and reopen but that's about the extent of my grouse

Great Phone for Daily Use
For everyday use (calls, web browsing, maps, text messaging, light gaming, photos), the phone is great! Everything is super clean and feels well put together. My main gripe is that Google didn't put an option to not automatically process photos. Often times when view a picture I just took, I love how it turns out, but the auto-processing makes it too HDR-y especially with a lot of lighting outdoors. I wish there was an option to disable auto-processing. My main concern is if the hardware will hold up to the promised 7 years of software updates. It's no secret that the chipset and modem compares to other 2023 flagships are not as up to par, but I'm hoping that it will still be sufficient to hold up that many years. Battery life is pretty good (coming from a 5+ year old OnePlus phone), definitely doesn't charge as fast, but I can tell it lasts much longer. It usually gets me through the day with medium usage, even charging only up to 80%. Most things from my previous phone was able to transfer smoothly via the provided USB-C to USB-C cable. Only things I had trouble with were text messages, which I was able to back-up and transfer via third party app. My experience buying from Best Buy was smooth too, phone was great out of the box.
