I have 2 of these now for 2 separate pianos. The first one I bought has lasted 6 + years. The ONLY thing you may experience is a little noise coming from pressing the pedal down but it should take a few years to even make that happen.

Hi, have a portable keyboard & had a much less expensive, cheaply made pedal previously. But bought this one now as the keyboard has been being used to perform music at various locations, especially during the holiday season. So when it is impossible to provide a real piano, this keyboard pedal works perfectly & is sturdy enough to use for performances anywhere. Really adds to the capability of the portable keyboard. thanks!

This works! lol. It has a good feel under your foot and a good strong spring but not too much. weighted enough so it stays in place pretty well with active usage. I like it!

I was very impressed with the weight and durability that it seems to be built with. I use it primarily to record emulated grand piano and any other piano that requires sustain on my M-Audio MIDI keyboard using a software called KONTAKT 4 by Native Instruments. The software with the keyboard and sustain pedal duplicates the real feel and noise of an actual piano so closely that if you have a decent pair of studio monitors, it is hard to tell it isn't a real piano.
