A nostalgic journey to by kid's childhood with a modern twist for my grandson's enjoyment. This is a classic must-have for all fans of Pokemon (older kids and new collectors.) My son collected cards and now his son collects cards and this set brings a wave of nostalgia while offering a fresh, polished experience. The board, counters, and markers were a fabulous addition to my grandson's collection. We were excited for some of the rare finds.

At first I was hesitant because of the price, but if you’re a true Pokémon fan and played the TCG growing up then this is definitely worth it. The quality and build of the carrying case is exquisite and it doubles as a playing arena as well. What I wasn’t expecting was for every single card to be a halo or reverse halo. Even the energy cards are halo! I especially love that the damage markers and status conditions were made with quality and are easy to use instead of dice like we usually do. The coin spinner in the middle is pretty fun to use to. This is a great set of your an old fan of the tcg or a new fan wanting to learn the game. These premade decks are easy to use and balance out pretty well against each other. You will not regret buying this. I was just blown away and was smiling ear to ear opening this up and sleeving every card 1 by 1.
