“Do you install the initial product when it's delivered? Do I need a hose at the back as this is sitting over a sump pump pit for drainage in the basement? Can you bring a hose for installation and I reimburse? Please clarify. Thanks”

The product comes with a standard decent length hose initially but you can upgrade yourself to whatever you prefer
