When you claim the card it'll use all the credit. I purchased the $100 on 10/4/2020 for $79.99. After following the instructions to claim the V-bucks for PC it showed that I was going to receive 13,500 V-bucks but after logging in to my Fornite account I actually got a total of 16,200 V-bucks. That's 20% more V-bucks compared to the ingame $79.99 package. Great deal while it's on sale. The extra 20% is for all the different Fortnite gift cards.

Your XBox profile now has the full amount of credit. If you make a $79.99 purchase your account would then have the remaining $20.01. Take note that you upload the entire amount from the card to your profile and the card itself has no remaining value.
