“Just bought this unit. Am I doing something wrong or are the rear speakers really that low in volume. I have adjusted the individual volume and the distance, both to the max and you have to put your ear by them to even hear them. What am I missing?”

I had the same problem. Then I reread and instructions said rear speakers are not always in use. Sometimes for special effects only.

Please try again later.Lower the dB setting on the front 3 speakers and that will make the 2 rear speakers sound louder when you increase the system volume.My fronts are set at the lowest setting and rears are at 6db. Hope that helps because if all speakers are set at the same level the rears will seem weaker in volume.
