Wouldn't recommend for a gaming laptop
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this PC would support gaming, but please keep in mind, it was not made or designed for heavy duty gaming. It has an integrated graphics card which is less powerful than a dedicated graphics card like NVidia or ATI, etc. However, I don't see why, with 8 Megabytes of RAM, Minecraft would be a problem. I do suggest purchasing a higher ended PC with a dedicated graphics card if your son is into heavy gaming. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My daughter tried to use Minecraft on this and it did not work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromebooks, right out of the box, are not going to be able to run Minecraft on it. There are lots of tutorials on the internet that allow you to modify the Chrome operating system to allow you to play Minecraft, but again, this will require some modifications. Unless you know what you are doing and have somewhat familiarity with Chrome operating system, you are better off going with an HP Stream (one of the cheaper Windows laptops) than you are with this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would no reccomend using the MacBook Air for Gaming/Minecraft I would reccomend using the Alienware Alpha which would be a great option and it has a low price so I would use that and I bought one off of amazon the other day for my 8 year old brother and he can play Minecraft and his other games on it with a good 40-75 fps
