You cannot install anything on it other than chrome apps that you find in the Google Chrome store. also please be aware you cannot install a printer on it either unless you got a printer connected to Google Cloud Print through the internet. So you must have a printer capable of Google Cloud Print connectivity. for documents including spreadsheets and presentations I use all Google Drive type documents which you can save as a Word document or an Excel spreadsheet that others can open with Microsoft products.
