• Obviously depends on what you do on it. But you can simply close it, it has instant on and battery lasts for days this way. When I am not streaming, I get over 10 hours use of intermittant use.

• I get about 6-8 hours per charge, but I use my Acer CB3-111 lightly. I think mine needs to have access to an outlet at least 50% of the time, IF I 'had' to depend on it. Other than that, I have no problems with mine.
