Hello. I am not a gamer either. but I have found this Acer Nitro 5 to run fast (intel COREi5 8th Gen processor) and in terms of reliability, Consumer Reports online's latest laptop evaluations show that the Acer brand in general is second only to Apple in reported quality of reliability (within the margin of error).
