It can depend on how you are using the laptop, as to how long the battery will last. The 4-cell battery in this model is rated at 5.5 hours; this is bench marked at an idle state. If you are actively using the laptop and getting 4 hours, this is likely within the norm for this battery. If you feel there is a problem with the battery please feel free to contact Acer support.
