"Deal of the Day" are on sale for 24 hours minimum, starting at 1:00 AM. Often (but not always), this is extended to a "few" days, but I don't think it goes up to a full week. So you have a little while to comparison shop, checking compatibility with different games, reviews, etc., but I wouldn't wait too long if you are seriously interested, otherwise you will have to wait for the next time it goes on sale, pay more, settle for an inferior unit at your price point, etc. At worst, if you are unhappy with it, you have a window to return it.
