“I noticed in one of the pictures that you can somehow make your monitor Vertical instead of Horizontal. But I can't figure it out. I can tilt it up and down, and adjust height but I'd like to get it in the Vertical position to read chat as a 2nd display.”

Move it up and just rotate it

You need to raise the height to the topmost position then rotate it 90 degrees to put it in portrait (vertical) position.
