“Have the monitor hooked up to direct tv receiver. Where are the volume controls on the monitor? Using a 3.5 jack with external speakers but very little volume. Was a lot louder on previous monitor with volume controls.”

I just got this, an I seen the volume setting only once. Getting there is tricky, its somewhere in the settings. Although, I never browsed through the manual.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Push the button on the bottom right behind the screen to bring up the menu. Then push the small circular button again. Inside that there should be an option for sound settings. You can increase the volume from there.

Please note the speakers are 2W, so you may not experience a robust sound experience than what you expect. If you need more volume we recommend using powered speakers connected to the laptop/PC it's connected to.
