How does this last long term/any problems? null

Have used the device for a number of months now. Other than having to "reboot" it after a significant thunder storm or two have not experienced any difficulty whatsoever.

My OLD Actiontec was still working when I upgraded to this newer model (despite power surges from lightning strikes that killed other devices). So, yeah, I have confidence in Actiontec durability.

My battery was faulty. The manufacturer is notorious for this.
