the Actiontec 4-Port Ethernet Broadband Router with Wireless-N worked right out of the box. A big plus was the customer service help. They talked me though installation step by step. Just on that alone I would buy another Actiontec product, and recommend it.

Went to my local best buy to find a solution to wireless signal loss and general reliability of old modem/router combo from 2wire manufacturer. tried to decide between wireless repeater setup or just a more powerful signal. In short I am glad I got this. Where I had 1-2 signal bars at best I am now at a 4 out of 5 with this new setup. I live in a separate structure from where the modem/router is, so, there is a lot of potential for signal interference but it overcomes it. Not only was it the best deal that I could find (Not searching the hoards of offers on ebay again and potentially getting burned by a "high end" setup still being yucky.) The setup is straight forward, the price is affordable for a new product, and I have been using this product for about 2 months consistently the only thing that remains to be seen is true long term reliability, but so far so good!

I just bought this last week and it was easy to set up and configure. I bought this to use it with ATT DSL connection and after struggling to configure the DSL connection part, finally got it working. Turns out with ATT DSL if you use their modem's then you have to enter your DSL account password and if you use some other router then you have to use the "network password" instead! This knowledge could have saved me a few hours! All in all a great DSL modem and wireless router for the price! The stand is flimsy with many cables attached to the ports behind but you could always place it horizontally.

In a world of shrinking DSL, this modem/wifi router was a great buy for the money. It isn't blazing fast but neither is DSL. It is reliable and faster than my previous 150n router. I especially like that setup was incredibly easy since there is only one unit versus my previous router and separate wifi router. If you're looking for an easy, reliably, and all in one unit this model is worth a serious look.

I've owned Actiontec gear in the past and it worked great for me -- I purchased this to assist a friend with a new hookup on an AT&T DSL connection.. Happily, this was an all-around smooth process. Getting things running from a hardware and software standpoint were painless -- this works well with their DSL service. You name it - the price, performance, ease-of-use, reliability -- everything I was searching for, I've found in this little device! From my experience, I can highly recommend.

Bought this for my mom who had a separate DSL modem and wireless router, which would keep losing connectivity. Very easy to set up and configure via the web browser. Had to call Windstream, to verify her download speeds, and after they corrected her account, she was pulling down what she was paying for. Results from speed tests on wired and wireless devices were almost identical. Fits her needs perfectly.

I'm really happy with this product. I'm not a electronic gadget guy but when the modem in my house went down. I needed help figuring this out. After finding my problem, I new Best Buy was the right place to go to. The worker there at Best Buy walked the section of the modems with me and answer every question I had. I picked this one for the wireless part of it and the price was really reasonable. After opening the box and going over the instructions, I was happy to see that this was not going to turn into a headache. By the time I realized it, I was done because of a quick set up method I followed. Here at the house, my wife, kids and I are happy with our new modem. Thanks Best Buy for being there for me & my family.

Modem is doing it's job and working well. I have no problems to report. It keeps me linked to the Internet with no disconnections. I recommend this modem for anyone who needs one because it came at a good price too.

This router is pretty easy to set up once you get the required info from your isp. I only give it 4 stars due to it having times where it drops the connection.

We have a super-large sprawling ranch house with a complete finished basement. With two PCs, two MacBook Pros, two iPads, and numerous televisions and Dish TV that require Internet, we needed a super-fast router with a lot of bandwidth. Because all of our utilities come into a utility room in the basement, I set up the router in our walk-out basement. WOW!!! Not only does this router fill the bill in the house, I've tried it driving down our lane. Still had a three-bar signal over 350' from the house. Using Century Link Landline Internet, we have a signal strength of between 7.10-7.90, which is excellent for our neighborhood in the cornfields of Iowa. Yes, I would highly recommend this router!

We have internet through a local service provider. Upon setup they provide the modem and all materials needed. When that modem "wore out", we knew Best Buy would have a compatible model for our service. The Actiontec modem with wireless capability was decently priced and very easy to set up to our home network. Does just what we expected and fulfilled our need.

I was looking for a modem and a wireless router when I stumbled across this product. It has worked better than I had hoped in connecting with CenturyLink and using my wifi connections. Excellent price also!!

I no longer need a separate modem and router, this item is all in one. Less clutter and wires. I also helped speed up my internet, and it was very easy to set up.

This DSL modem is so easy to set up, you won't beleive it. All conections ase so intutive, the included set up guide is rendered superflous. This modem and router combination has been powered on and running flawlessly for months. It endures well when the power goes out; and is up and functional as soon as the electric power returns, I coulden't have been happier with this. For the price it delivers the quality and service that surpasses evrey other DSL modem and router combination I've used over the past 10+ years, even the ones that cost twice as much. If you use this product, you won't regret it!

Replaced AT&T Router Modem "2Wire". This works much better, only have to reboot every few months, whereas the 2Wire always had issues and eventually stopped working.

It was very easy to set up this router. I was also very pleased with the design. The speed of this router is optimal for fast internet.

I bought this item to replace an AT&T Wireless Router. So far it has performed very well and puts out a decent wireless signal. It cost a lot less than the AT&T Router. So far I have no complaints.

I looked at the reviews for this and thought the price was a good deal. I had absolutely no problems setting it up. My speed are the best they have every been. The setup that my internet provider gave me was a modem with a wireless router. This router combines these features so I only need this to make me internet work. I would recommend this to someone with some computer skills.

Good signal throughout the home. Running computer and several tablets and couple phones on internet at once and no family member complaints. Especially like the on/off switch for reset if needed.
