• It will not. This is an ADSL (DSL high speed) internet that would require a DSL phone line.

• Yes, this will work with any Internet connection, it doesn't matter if you receive your Internet through a cable provider, satellite, or via a DSL connection through your phone line. Simply connect the router to the modem provided by Dish via the provided Ethernet cable, configure the router, and you will be good to go.
