- Answer When you say "paid monthly version", I assume you are referring to Adobe CS Cloud. The monthly version has more features. This version has very adequate features for the average user. The big advantage is you only pay for this once and it is good for life. If you need a lot of bells and whistles, get the monthly paid subscription. Adobe CS Cloud and Adobe Photoshop Elements/Adobe Priemiere Elements are two different products.

QuestionDoes this program natively support CR3 RAW files? I am planning to buy a new Canon 90D which only supports CR3 RAW files (I understand that CR3 files has been out for nearly two years)

- Answer The short answer is yes. In February Adobe released an update that includes every new camera available. Your 90D was on an earlier list. It is possible you may have to download an Adobe plug in - Adobe Camera Raw. This is the bit that gets updated frequently to add new cameras and lenses. Lightroom, Photoshop, and Elements all use the same plug in.
