Actually it's pretty straightforward, just follow the instructions on the package, typically, you'd run a bit of hot water, toss a tablet into the disposal, let it foam up as it cleans, and then rinse it all down after a few minutes.

Hi James. You would need to turn the hot water on in your sink to a low flow. Place the tablet into the disposal and turn on the disposal for 30 seconds. You will notice some foaming action. After 30 seconds shut off the disposal and rinse out the foam in the sink. We hope this helps!
