• There is a Beta coming where DVR will be activated. DVR will be coming to the Air TV with an update.

• A new beta feature is the ability to put in a thumb drive and record local live tv provided by use of the adapter and your antenna. If you think about it, that is the only thing you'd need to record as everything else is on demand.

• The DVR function is in beta right now but it seems to work fine for me. You’ll need to add storage via the USB port on the back of the device. I used a flash drive. The DVR function is only for recording over the air broadcasts. It will not record content streamed from sling.

• Sling TV currently provides a cloud DVR feature for recording streaming channels. AirTV is working to release a local DVR feature in the near future.

• The device itself does not have a DVR function. I use slingtv and that has its own DVR cloud base service. TiVo devices are built around a DVR functiion.
