“Hi, I recently purchased this chair and have now assembled it. But the backrest after assembly is not stable. It tilts upward to about 120 degrees and drops back to 90 degrees. I thought the backrest should not move. Am I right? Is this a defect?”

• The backrest was stable when I assembled it. I would check to make sure ALL the screws were fully tight which is possibly the only reason it could be not stable.

• It sounds like it might be a defect. The back of my chair stands straight up when not sat in, and tilts back when you lean back. Even then it doesn’t lean that far back.
