• Hi there Shari - Yes, depending on the level of charge left the speaker will continue to play while charging. However, if the speaker is dead, you cannot power on the speaker and have it play then while charging. It needs to have some battery life left. IF you are looking for longer battery life, we do recommend you check out the Jacket H20 4 or the Mini LifeJacket Jolt!

• Yes. When I bought it I plugged it in to charge and I was listening to music at the same time.
