The H2O 4 is fully submersible in water so long as the cover for the aux and charging port is sealed. It can not be charged under water. It's great for the shower and river floats. Speaking of floats, it will. Altec Lansing advises if it's used in chlorine pools or salt water rinse it to prevent rusting.
In my opinion, this is a highly functional unit, sounds great, shower music is awesome, perfect size. I out mine in my back pocket and I have great sound wherever I go.

A:AnswerHi there - we do not suggest keeping the charging cable plugged in at all times. Like any Bluetooth device the battery needs to drain to keep the life of the battery last! This speaker has a 16 hour battery life, so we recommend draining the battery throughout the day and re-charging overnight!
A:AnswerI think that you should be able to connect your Alexa to it. It has a microphone button and I can access Google and bixby from the speaker when I'm connected by Bluetooth.
