To answer my own question, yes it worked but it was awful. We tried to use it at a drive-in movie theater and there was just the slightest delay between what we were hearing compared to what everyone else was hearing. It was really annoying and very distracting. Boxing it up and taking it back to Best Buy.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Possibly, but I'd be very careful to turn the radio volume all the way down before connecting and pairing. The unit is intended for use with a fixed, low-level "aux out", and headphone jacks usually have a higher output than that. Starting with the Bluetooth speaker all the way down would also be recommended. I'd suggest playing with it at home first just in case.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but the battery in the transmitter is a hit or miss. Would recommend spending the extra 10 dollars on the transmitter / receiver unit where you can control the volume better. Endless you dont mind keeping the transmitter plugged into a USB for power...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see why not. It should work out of any 3.5mm jack - but it does need to be charged occasionally. I would make sure that is the case before you go to the drive-in.
