Let me see if I can help. Please read your use manual very careful. I have had my washer 1 month and I love it but I had to know how to use it properly. Notice the "auto sensing" dial. Use that dial and then put on NORMAL. add the clothes and let the washer do the work. It will auto sense the load size and weight of the clothes for you and add water according. Leave it alone to agitate until finished washing. You will notice a light clicking off and on within the machine as it is sizing up the load weight. You will come to love this option. always use Auto Sensing with the Normal dial and you should be fine. remember to let it run its course it does all the work for you. Auto sensing can be used with every load and I found it is much easier to let the machine guess the load size for me. All other dials and options can be used but they fill the washer to level with water and agitate regular like. I had to read my instructions several times to understand and once I did I use auto sense only/NORMAL cycle. Good luck and I hope this helps, dont give up.
