• It needs to be a smart tv so the dot can pick up the tv signal to be able to control it in any way you’d want to!

• Smart TV and regular TV do not turn on with the Alexa they just change channels . Using the app from the Alexa you can sign in with your Fios account screen name and password and you will be able to change channels
