Yes it will answer most questions and perform better at actions than the Google home mini. Mainly because it's been around for longer. However the Google mini is still expanding

Depends upon your question, but yes, she will try to answer pretty much anything related to Amazon and the internet in general. Alexa will also give you some snarky replies when you ask her a personal question. Some of the general questions she can handle are current weather, traffic, day and time, etc. It can handle simple math questions, spellings, grammatical, and history questions too. You can also connect online streaming musical accounts like Spotify and Pandora to play throught the deice. You may want to connect to an external speaker as some of the smaller devices don't have a lot of volume (Echo Dot). You can also set the Echo up to order Lyft and Uber rides, plan travel plans through Kayak... The list goes on and there are more and more apps that Echo can connect to and online services it can utilize. I hope that helps and answers your question. ";O_)
