• Not much bandwidth and data is stored in the cloud which is not on premise.

• The Dot will not use a lot of data just answering questions, keeping a todo list or telling you the weather. If you use it to stream music, then yes, it could add up.

• No it does not, unless your streaming music from it. And I don't know about Amazon Prime, but I stream music from my cell phone and for about 2 hours of Pandora it's about 35-40 megs on my cell.
