- Answer Without signing up for Amazon Music Unlimited, you won't be able to stream anything specific, HOWEVER, right out of the box, you WILL be able to say, play Christian Hymns, and Alexa will more than likely launch a station that will have Christian Hymns on it, but not necessarily the ones you specifically want to hear.

- Answer I usually tell it to play my music and it plays all of the music that I've downloaded/bought in my Amazon account. (Alexa, play my music.) If you have Spotify or other streaming services I believe you can instruct her to play music from there. (Alexa, play Spotify/Pandora etc...) but it all has to be connected within your Amazon account.

- Answer Yes the Alexa can be used as an alarm clock timer calendar and a lot of other good features. You can also go in your settings to increase the volume as the alarm goes off. You can also set different sounds like mines is set for hotel Transylvania the from the movie. Download the Alexa app to your phone.
