• Hi Jack, I am not sure what does compatible mean in your question. However, if you download the Amazon Alexa app onto your IPad then you will be able to control the Dot using the app and get notifications too. Kindle is a book reader so I think it has nothing to do with the Dot. However, if you have a fire tablet then the dot and the tablet will be able to work together in a network of Amazon devices.
