Hi Anam10, This is an android based tablet. You can download apps from the Amazon App store, there is an internet browser. You can read books, watch movies (with wifi), download books, movies and pictures and documents for viewing). The list could go on. This is a kids tablet, so it can be used by an adult without parental controls, or in kids mode you could choose through the Parent portal what is "allowed" by the child.
