Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the Amazon fire kids addition vs the regular Amazon fire 7. I did buy the regular for my grands 5 yrs old 7 yrs old 8 yrs old Would a regular still work for that age group. Can I make the regular a kids version?

• A:Answer I am sorry I don't know the difference But can try and answer what I do about the this very one. It is a 7 inch tablet came with the rubber protection for him to hold its light weight, kid friendly . Does hasve a parent code . Haven't had a problem with it changing to YouTube unless parent takes off the code and adds it. When you set it up it will ask you the child's age group so that it will configure your choices. • A:Answer Yes, there is a normal tablet area accessable by PIN. You dont have to use freetime (kids area). You do need an amazon account to start up the tablet's inital setup. Works offline for what you downloaded.
