• Yes, I use AOL mail so I am sure you can use Gmail, It would be good to download Google Chrome and Gmail from Mobogenie and it has Google on Chrome.

• Google apps, such as Google search, Gmail and YouTube are not available natively on this device, nor are they available in the Amazon App Store. You can, however, side load Google Play Store to access these apps. For detailed instructions search: "Side Load Google Play on Amazon Fire."

• You CANNOT use Google Apps on the Kindle, because the Kindle Fire is NOT an Android device. Also for You Tube, you need to get on You Tube through Amazon's version of the web called Silk.
