loading games I want to get this for my dad. He is very ill and can no longer do much. I was wondering if I can just put games on it like solitaire and spider solitaire...maybe some other games (brain games) that aren't too hard and would hold his interest. He doesn't have a router or even high speed internet, so I would have to load them on for him

As long as Amazon app store has the games ur looking for, u can add them for him via wireless router. Ud have to take it from him every now and then to update the apps via a wireless router

Yes, you can load those types of games through the Amazon store. Also, there is a separate App Store (you'd have to google it) that lets you add apps that normally don't appear through Amazon alone.

Yes, you can definitely download those programs and your father should be able to use it no problem. The only warning I'll give you is that if you get the Amazon Underground 'Actually Free' games, you must allow internet usage monitoring (Amazon pays the developer the more you play the app) and I believe that requires a periodic internet connection to upload the information. Also, unless you pay the extra $ to purchase the tablet without the "special offers" AKA advertisements on the lock screen (it's only on the lock screen and doesn't affect other functionality), then it will probably also periodically need to be updated via a wifi connection in order to download new "special offers".

You can definitely put games like that on the tablet. They won't even take up much space. But you definitely need internet in order to do so.
