I have just read the original box this Tablet came in and what I am reading is "Fire 7" Tablet 5th Generation" I bought a case for mine and I had to remember to look for the 5th Generation Case others don't fit...I did purchase one for this Tablet and it didn't work...I hope this answers your question... good luck!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on what you define "kid proof" to be. I got a generic case for 7 inch tablet and it works fine. Only reason to get Kindle specific is for the camera opening on the back. You'll spend more on the case than the actual device if you're not careful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The version is Fire 7
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought a Moko brand kid proof case from Amazon for my new Fire tablet. My tablet was bought from Best Buy- the version is 5th generation. I had a lot of options for cases just entering " Kindle Fire 7, 5th generation". My case was a perfect fit! :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's called Kindle Fire. I believe Otterbox makes a case for it but costs as much as a replacement. I'd put $50 away somewhere safe and just replace it if broken.that's just my opinion though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is the version for Adults, NOT for kids. There are cases on Amazon's website that would be for this Kindle Tablet. However, I am not too sure if they are Kid Proof though. Amazon has a Fire tablet just for kids, and you can find it on their website.
