your sunglasses are probably polarized (which is good). unfortunately, the fire screen doesn't work well with polarized lenses.

There is a setting for night reading that may just work for you with this, it certainly won't hurt to try it. Go to settings then select display, and look for blue shade setting. Hope this helps you.
