• Just sign in to your kindle account and everything is available in the cloud. If you have access to the Internet, it's no problem.

• When you enter in the email on the new kindle associated with your amazon account, your content will be stored in your cloud associated with your previous kindle and you can just select it to download it back to the new kindle. Your apps should transfer the same way too. It works this way even for your android devices if you use the kindle app.

• If you link your new Kindle to the same Amazon account as your old one, everything that you purchased from Amazon and is present in the Manage Your Kindle page, will automatically download to the archives on your new Kindle as soon as it syncs. Then from the Archives, you'll have to choose to download it to the new Kindle or not.
