• No, the cover case has to be from Amazon, and you cannot use a keyboard case for it.

• Not positive, but because this tablet has Bluetooth I think you can use a keyboard case with Bluetooth and not have to worry about a connecting cable. It's just a matter of finding one compatible with Fire tablets.
