“How do I turn device on? I recently purchased a kindle fire tablet. The battery is fully charged but the device will not turn on unless the power cord is connected. Is there something I need to do to get started?”

• There is an on and off button on the edge of the device

• The button on the top is used to power it on. Try holding it down for a few seconds

• You just press and hold the power button on the top of tablet until it turns on. Takes a few seconds.

• May seem silly but have you held down the power button a few seconds? That is the way to both fully power on or off the tablet. I hope this helps.

• Press and hold the power button for several seconds until the unit turns on.
