• This is the kids version, it can have multiple accounts which allows you to apply parental controls on the child's account

• It has a separate youth account that allows you to customize what your child can see and how long they can be on it. We also have an 8" Fire that we were considering giving my son instead of buying one, but I'm so glad we went this way. So much more user friendly for young kids.
