I've bought many, many fire sticks and never been asked my phone number. What are you doing? Registering it? Why?

If this is preventing you from setting up the Fire TV Stick 4k I would use the help feature on the set up screen to reach out to Amazon in order to figure out the issue and get things set up. If you were able to get the Fire TV Stick 4k set up and functional, I would log in to your Amazon account and double check the information in your profile. If you don't already have an Amazon account, then you'll need to set one up before you can attach your account to the Fire TV Stick. Hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!
