• If you’re going to be viewing 4k content, the Firestick 4K is capable of passing that information to your 4K TV. The regular Firestick is capable of passing through up to a 1080p signal. If your TV is only a 1080p set you don’t need the 4K stick. If you have a 4K TV and want to be able to view 4K content, you’ll need to 4K stick. You can use the regular Firestick with a 4K TV but you’ll only be able to view up to a 1080p image.
