• No you don't need a 4k tv - but a regular fire stick will also work with a 4k tv.

• You do not need to have a 4K tv. I would order the 4K in case you get a 4K tv and want to use the media.

• No, you don't have to have a 4K TV to use with the 4K Fire TV stick. It is better to purchase the 4K Fire TV stick version so that you can use with old HD or new 4K TV.
