I just want to correct an incorrect statement in a previous response. The 4K model will work with any HD TV. A 4K is not required according to Amazon's own website description which says " or 2) high-definition TVs with HDMI capable of 1080p or 720p at 50/60 Hz". I don't have 4K but want this model because it controls the TV's power and volume via buttons or Alexa for the popular TV brands.
